Meet Kitaco's New Champion - Serena

We are thrilled to announce that Kitaco has a new Champion! Serena (Kitaco Lipsync Assassin), only 2 weeks since she moved up into the Junior Class, has earned her final Challenge Certificate at the Canterbury Toy Dog Society show and shall henceforth be known as NZ CH Kitaco Lipsync Assassin (the title is, of course, pending approval from Dogs NZ).

Serena is our 9th Kitaco-bred Champion.

Serena is the daughter of Ben (NZ CH Kitaco Ben de la Creme) and Tinky (NZ CH Kitaco Mastermind). She is the spitting image of her mother, with the fabulous rich colouring and ring presence of her father.

She is a granddaughter of our Japanese import, Flint (NZ CH Bramver's Twilight) and the Great-Grandaughter of our imported Greek foundation stud, Narci (GR CH, JNR GR CH, NZ CH, Mystic Legion Narcissus), and our foundation dam and very first show dog, Nikita, (NZ CH, NZ Neut CH, Eldivino Senorita Nikita).

Serena is such a gorgeous girl. She is an utter delight with a great temperamanet, fabulous movement and conformation and is afraid of nothing. She has blown us away with her success since debuting this year in Gore, where she took Best Baby Puppy of Group in her very first show. and topped it off by winning the Best Puppy of Breed at the National Dog Show in September.

Since starting her show career in February this year, Serena has won:

  • a Best Puppy in Show

  • a Best of Group

  • a Reserve Best of Group

  • 8 Best Baby Puppy of Group

  • 6 Best Puppy in Group

  • 10 Best of Breed

  • 9 Reserve Best of Breed

  • 7 Junior of Breed

  • 16 Best Puppy of Breed

  • 28 Best Baby Puppy of Breed

  • 13 Best Bitch awards

  • 21 Reserve Best Bitch awards

  • 8 Best Bitch Challenge Certificates

  • Junior CACIB

  • National Best Puppy of Breed

Serena's final CC topped off a great week of shows in Canterbury which started last weekend with the Waimate shows and finished with the Canterbury Toy Dog Society show, the highlights of which include Scotty winning a Best Baby Puppy of Group, a Best of Breed and a Reserve Best of Breed, Narci winning 2 Best Veteran of Groups and of course Scotty and Tory the Dalmatian winning 5th place in the Irish Stakes.
