Kitaco's Inaugural Open Day is a big hit

We get so many enquiries about puppies and people who want to see our dogs and our kennels (and us - you know, in case it turns out w'e're psycho axe-murders or internet scammer, or something. LOL). that we decided to hold our first Kitaco Open Day.

The purpose of the Open day was to give prospective owners a chance to meet us (and for us to meet them) meet our Chihuahuas, see our kennel and where our dogs are housed, meet owners of some of our other puppies and talk to us about what they might be looking for in a Chihuahua.

COVID limits meant staggering the visits (we even had our own QR Code - very posh) but even with Level 2 restrictions in place and gathering outdoors, we were able to meet several wonderful families who we are certain will give our babies just the bestest of homes in the future. They will now go on our waiting list for our next litter (due later this year, fingers crossed).

Aided by Briar, Wendy, Gracie and Tinky and their wonderful pet owners we shared lots of cuddles, wine, cheese and cupcakes. Our prospective owners were able to meet our dogs and some of our earlier puppies and their owners, and ask all the questions they could think of about Chihuahuas.

We will definitely do this again next year so keep an eye on our Calendar if you are in the Christchurch region and would like visit us.
