What a fabulous weekend for our West Coast branch of Team Kitaco. In the capable and amazingly stylish hands of the awesome Amba Waghorn, Narci's daughter, Baroness Bambino Bubblegum, followed in her Greek and NZ Champion father's footsteps by taking Reserve of Group at the Buller Kennel Association Show 2 in Carter's Beach under Australian Judge Kim Haddon.
Baroness Bubbles topped off a wonderful weekend by taking Best Bitch and Reserve of Breed on Day 1, then Best Bitch, Best of Breed on Day 2, Junior of Group and of course, her Reserve of Group. She is now (Dogs NZ approval pending) NZ Champion Kitaco's Deevyne Inspiration. We are so thrilled for Bubbles' and her owner, Amba. She is only new to showing but she has now made up two Kitaco dogs to Champion, does the most amazing job with her dogs and even runs a Chihuahua playgroup in Nelson for other Chihuahua pet owners.
The rest of Team Kitaco also did us proud. A very laid back Taco (Gemchi Yum Yum Taco), just returned to the West Coast after his romantic assignation in Canterbury, took Reserve Dog and NZ Bred of Breed in both shows, Baroness's little big sister, Duchess Dinky Doll (NZ CH Eldivino Rogue Trader at Kitaco) took Intermediate of Breed in both shows, as well.
